Privacy Policy

Effective October 30, 2026

Zombie Defense: High School is a game for iPhone and Android made by BuiltFor (“we”). This policy explains what data the game collects and why. Questions: hello@builtfor.app.

Short version

Data stored on your device

Game progress, statistics and settings are saved in the app’s storage on your device. They are not sent to us. Deleting the app or using Reset Progress in the game menu removes them.

Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)

The game sends gameplay events, for example “first upgrade bought”, “Period 1 won” or “Full Access screen shown”. With each event Firebase records a random app-instance identifier, device model, operating system version, app version, language and an approximate country or region derived from the IP address. On iPhone it also records the identifier for vendor (IDFV) that iOS gives our apps. We use this to see where players get stuck and which features are used, and to improve the game.

The game does not use the advertising identifier. On iPhone it does not request access to the IDFA and does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt. On Android it does not ask for the advertising ID permission, and Firebase’s advertising ID collection is turned off.

Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics, iPhone only)

If the game crashes on iPhone, Crashlytics sends a crash report: the stack trace, device model, iOS version, free memory and disk space at the time of the crash, and a random installation identifier. We use it only to fix bugs. The Android version does not include Crashlytics.

Purchases

The optional Full Access purchase is processed by Apple on iPhone and by Google Play on Android. We never see your payment details. The store tells the game that the purchase is active, and the game records the purchase (product and price) as an analytics event.

Who processes the data

Analytics and crash data are processed by Google LLC as our service provider. See the Firebase privacy information and the Google Privacy Policy. We do not share data with anyone else.

How long it is kept

Analytics event data is kept for no longer than 14 months. Crash reports are kept for 90 days. After that Google deletes them.

Your choices

You can stop all data collection by deleting the game. To ask us to delete analytics data tied to your app-instance identifier, email hello@builtfor.app. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
